The PolyPro Jump Foot™
The foot determines how stable the jump will be. |

We have solved the stability problem.

“…there are many jump foot designs on the market. Here are some things to consider.” |
|
The Post to Foot connection: The PolyPro Jump Foot™ provides a solid post to foot connection for no wobble, total solid support. A main feature is the 4.5” deep pocket that accepts and holds the end of the post. The pocket is cambered so it holds the post snuggly, requiring only one bolt for set-up. This assures total support to the post. Some designs use a sleeve to connect the post to the foot (see picture), this leaves only 3.5” of PVC material supporting the entire jump. Ultimately the sleeve will take all of the “crash” pressure and often fail. Other designs use the straight insert method, which provides more post support than the sleeve, but it can’t be weighted easily and is prone to wobble. |

The Width of Foot: The PolyPro Jump Foot™ has an amazing surface to ground area of 1.31 sq ft. The width of the jump-foot plays an important role in stability of a jump standard. The old type of jump-foot is 3.5” wide which is a surface to ground area of only .65 sq ft. The PolyPro Jump Foot™ is wider and considerably more stable than the other brand. |

The Material used: The PolyPro Jump Foot™ is made of UV treated polyethylene, the strongest material available. If your jump-foot is not wood then it is most likely PVC. PVC, though strong and resilient, has limitations for strength and impact. The PolyPro Jump Foot™ is made from Polyethylene, like your plastic mounting block. This material is five times stronger than PVC and will last almost indefinitely. |
|
The Weight of Foot: The PolyPro Jump Foot™ weighs 4 lbs empty and up to 16 pounds full. The weight of the jump-foot translates directly into stability of the jump standard. Naturally, the heavier the foot, the more stable the jump. Most PVC jump-feet weigh about 2 pounds. The PolyPro Jump Foot™ weighs 4 lbs empty and up to 16 pounds full. This is the most stable jump-foot available |
